Is This Laptop Worth It?

I'm sure this laptop is going to go quick as its one of the more advertised products for Wal-Mart as far as Black Friday..but is it worth it? I'm currently a college student with a joke of a Netbook as my computer. 550mb of ram and about a 7gb harddrive. I don't really understand specific computer specs, but I'm wondering if this laptop will be good enough for things like Firefox, Winamp, Skype, Microsoft Office and stuff? I'm not trying to play Halo or run Photoshop on it or anything like that.
550mb of ram, a 7gb hdd? well i had one worster 64mb with a 4 gb hdd but that was years back, the laptop that was look at has a 250 gb harddrive so storage space of what you need is not a problem
2gb of ram and a 2.2 ghz processor some of the features mention for the e-machine laptop are pretty good from what you had also check out the compaq that on sale, the only program mention that takes up a lot of space is microsoft office just over 100mb plus depends on the application you use on it
