My laptop hard disk does not work in my external enclosure?
When i put my laptop hard disk in my external enclosure it does not work but when i put it in the laptop it works perfectly. What causes that?
When i put my laptop hard drive in the enclosure that was made for it it doesnt work, but it works perfectly when i place the hard drive in my laptop.

Laptop Hard drives use a different type of connector, that isn't compatible with your external drive without an adapter. You need an adapter like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/AZ-Laptop-2-5-3-5-mini-IDE-hard-drive-adapter-unit_W0QQitemZ370029397495QQihZ024QQcategoryZ39967QQcmdZViewItem They may look similar, but they are not the same. The laptop uses Mini IDE, but the enclosure uses full size IDE.
