Is there a place that buys furniture?
Consignment stores or direct sales through classified ads are your two basic options.
Consignment stores will get a higher price than you can, but will take approximately 50% of the sale price. This is the least hassle and typically quickest way to go.
Direct sales. You could advertise the pieces and sell them individually, or if you have enough, you could host a one-day estate sale. If the quality is high enough and the quantity suffucient, consider hiring an estate sale expert. They will price the items, place the ads and draw in people through their own mailing lists and reputations. To find someone who provides these services, check your local ads for estate sales in process. A pro will identify themselves in the ad.
