spongy type nylon cases : cleaning them?
Foam spongy type nylon cases with zips on the side, used to case portable CD players or things like Laptops and other gadgets?
When they get dusty, what is the best way to clean them? If you wash them, does it ruin them?
Appreciate some cleaning tips
The cases sound like something you can wash right in your machine. Without actually seeing and holding the item, I'm just using my best guess, but nylon is very machine washable.
Why not wash just one case for an experiment? If it survives, then you'll know you can wash all the cases in your washing machine.
I would wash in Warm water, regular laundry detergent, and allow the cases to air dry. I would NOT put them in your dryer. That probably would ruin them.
I'm sure you can wash the cases right along with a load of clothes. I'd try it out with just one case and see what happens.
Good luck.
