My laptop battery is not working at all when I remove AC power from my charger. What should I do?
I own an ASUS G73 Laptop and have had it for about 2.5 months, and have found that when I remove my charger from my computer, it turns off completely. It hasn't always been like this, just recently it has. The LED indicator on my laptop (usually a green battery symbol if its charged and a red battery symbol if it is not fully charged) is a flashing red battery, and I cannot figure out quite exactly what this means. Do I need to replace the battery altogether? Right now, it says my battery is at 90%, charging, but it has been saying that for the past 4 hours I've had my computer on and connected to my charger. I tried to do a Battery Calibration, except that requires the battery to be fully discharged and then fully charged, yet I cannot discharge my battery because my laptop will not turn on without the AC coming from the charger. Any help would be awesome.
I would say you need a new battery. Get a new one since you are under warranty.
