Why won't my gateway laptop come on?
I have a gateway notebook and it will not charge. It all started while I was using it and it completely turn off. I got it to charge for a few minutes then I power it on and then it shut off (charging light went off). Can someone help? Is it the charger or battery?
From the sounds of it you have a blown capacitor which you can either take it to a repair shop and they will repair the broken part on the motherboard or purchase a new system.
