i have a problem with something in my laptop?
ok, the monitor won't turn on. i got it replaced for a hefty price of 200 dollars.
and it still won't work. before i replaced it, i fixed it temporarilly by pressing on the metal plate under the LEFT HINGE COVER of my GATEWAY SOLO 5350 with windows xp pro. i thought that if i got the screen replaced it would fix it. but no.
so now that plate has dents in it and doesn't work anymore cause i pressed it too much.
I DON'T NEED A NEW MONITOR.
IT WORKS FINE WITH MY DESKTOP MONITOR!!! but i'm tired of taking the vga cord out of the laptop and putting it into my desktop every time i want to switch computers.
please tell me there is a cheap way to fix this.
and if you need more info, please tell me and stay on the page because i will respond 100 percent of the time for the next 5 hours.
i'm so sick of fixing this piece of junk.
i have literally put over 300 dollars into it (no joke)
but my grandma insists that i just fix it instead of get a new laptop.
If you got your screen replaced they should have fixed the connection between the monitor and the laptop. Take it back to the place you replaced the monitor and have them check the connection. If the lcd they sold you is good then it's the connection.
