Can I max out CoD4 & MW2 on an Intel Pentium D 3.0 GHz CPU and still get an average of 60 fps?
I have a new PC and am planning on getting CoD4 and MW2. I have an Intel Pentium D ( dual core) running at 3.0GHz. Can I max these games out with 2GBs of RAM and a GeForce 9800 GT 512Mb card?
You should be able to max it at a decent resolution, but 60fps is a bit overkill, seeing as playability starts at 30fps. As long as your in between (or even above) those numbers your good. Like you said with your CPU it's dual core, which will give you lighting fast loading times. Just try not to have background applications running as it will hog up your ram memory and slow the loading times.
