What kind of laptops are fast, have good battery life, and are reasonably priced?
I want a new laptop that is fast, has good battery life, and doesn't cost a fortune. Macs are great computers, but I don't have $1000+ to spend. I want one with a built in web cam and speaker also. $800 is my maximum price for a brand new laptop.

Hp or Dell laptops are good. The Dell Inspiron 1525 has 2gb memory and the battery lasts I think 5-7 and a half hours, depending on the power mode you are using. It costs i think 699$. To get a webcam you have to add like 30$ to 60$ more.
Hp laptop are reasonable priced. They are pretty good too. They have like the same features as a Dell except they are from Hp and not from Dell.
