Does Intel HD graphics which built into some Intel CPU help a dedicated graphic card in laptop or not ?
I want buy a laptop and I want this laptop to be good for gaming . I want to know If I buy a laptop with dedicated graphic does Intel HD which available in some processors improve the performance of my graphic card or not . Like Vaio VPCEA16FG with

there are two parts to the answer to this question.
Dedicated graphics and the iCore CPUs use of; and what constitutes the term dedicated graphics.
The iCore CPUs are designed to run enhanced graphics provided by a dedicated GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), this they do extremely well. The problem comes in determining what the manufacturer means by dedicated graphics. The Intel HD IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) does not mean that the graphics has its own RAM (where a dedicated GPU does), this means the system will reserve a dedicated portion of the System RAM exclusively for the IGP and not have to wait to clear system RAM before it can access it.
By contrast a dedicated GPU has its own RAM on the chip or board so it has no need of access to System RAM, and where the iCore processors have the advantage is there is a dedicated "channel" through the CPUs bus specifically to direct this data without it needing to use the system RAM or CPU resources. This results in almost zero processor lag and faster frame rates in game because there is no "in CPU" processing of the graphic data.
