How do you back up data on a laptop hdd when replacing it with a new one?
I'm getting a new hdd for my laptop cause im running out of space but I don't want to lose my data from my old hdd, also I'm not sure what type of hdd that I need. Any feedback would be helpful.
You might want to buy an external hard drive and back up your files on that and when you get a new hard drive, just transfer your data. And if you are going to buy an external hard drive, there really is no point in buying a new hard drive unless you travel a lot and dont want to carry it and externals are pretty small and they do the job.
