Whats the differences between Active and Passive "heat sinks"?
I'm majoring in Information Technology and I have a test tomorrow that I'm studying for and I need to know what the differences in Active and Passive heat sinks are... Please anyone help me!!!!!
brandon- wv
Not 100% sure, wait for further confirmation:
But I'm assuming Active heat syncs involve moving parts such as a fan,
whereas Passive do not have moving parts, e.g. a large metal surface to draw out the heat.
