My Compaq Presario C500 battery wont charge. New Battery, and an Igo power cable?
My laptops battery will not charge for some reason. It charged while i was gone for a few hours one day and now it wont charge past 4%. My power cable is and I-go charger cable with the right sized input and works fine. I bought the battery off of ebay and it was fully charged when i got it. If anyone has a solution plz tell me.When its plugged in the charging light just blinks.
The battery worked just fine when i got it. could it be the power cable since its not the original cable?

Appears you have a bum battery since the laptop works just well plugged in, I would contact the seller of the battery and find out whats up. Basically in a nutshell, you need a new battery.
