wat all do i need on a lap top/notebook???
wat kind of stuff do i need to have/get on a lap top/notebook to be able to do everything like a desktop computer like yahoo messenger, aim,myspace messenger,etc, play games, cds, etc everything u can do on a desk top basically??? and how good are the dell inspiron notebooks???
This are the things you care in a laptop, of course accorsding to different user the priority varies.
1) CPU 1.5Ghz or above are good for just about anything.
2) Memory 1-2 GBs of RAM
3) Video card i think this actually is number 2 but anyway, you want a video card with at least 512 MB of dedicated memory, this will improve your gaming experience drastically.
4) HDD 200 GB I think everyone would agree this is a fair amount.
5) Size, this is controversial, if you want to play video games then y ou wat something that has a good size LCD soemthing like 17" but then if you have that, portability becomes an issue so people prefer the 13" range. your choice.
6) From there on, there are an unlimited number of features, such as do you want it to have Bluethoot, what type of media reader you want such as CD, DVD, DVD RAM, BlueRay, etc... a lot of this little features are just that, a bunch of little features but some of them you will use them every day such as USB ports.
AND last one thing everyone considers and nobody can forget is the mighty $$$ you don't have this then viola you do not have a new laptop
