My laptop broke out of nowhere?
I have a gateway laptop that broke out of nowhere. The screen just turned black and it wouldn't, and still won't, turn back on. I tried taking out the battery for a night and putting it back in a day later, and that didn't work. In case you need this information, it has;
intel duo processor T6600
17.3" 16:9 HD + LED LCD
500 GB HDD
4 GB Memory
DVD-super multi DL drive
Webcam
Multi-in-1 card reader
And I believe I've only had it for about 4-6 months.
I've never hit it or in anyway damaged it.
I'm not much of a computer wiz, so I just included that information if it had anything to do with it.
Is there anything I can do to try and fix it before I pay lots of money to get it fixed?
And what could be the cause of it going black out of nowhere?
Bassman1, in the details I included I cannot turn my laptop on.
Cupcake: None of the lights were on. It is completely off. & it costs for me to send my computer in. Plus I just want to see if I can fix it before I send it in.
It should be under warranty, take it back to where you bought it. ~
