What should my laptop have for memory? Or is 1GB to small for memory?
I'm looking for a laptop and I looked at Dell.com and there mini's look like a good laptop for me. But It only has 1GB for memory. Is that to small of memory? Or is the mini even a good laptop?
Depends what Operating System its running, 1gb for XP is ok, 1gb for Vista is minimum, and not adequate after awhile,as things build up, in my opinion..
Many people buy Netbooks thinking they will be and function like a larger PC , just in a smaller box.
Many find this isnt the case with restricted HDD size, some dont have DVD drives, low memory capacities and a few other little things.
I would consider carefully between a normal laptop and a micro, and what you intend to do on it.
Unless you are a travellor on planes or trains etc, i would be considering if a normal laptop might be more appropriate.
