Will any kind of hard drive work with my laptop?
I want to buy a 1TB Hard Drive, but Im not sure if just any kind will do. Im not sure but I think I heard somewhere that laptops take different kinds of hard drives. Now this was a while back and I'm not sure about it.
Can I buy any kind of hard drive (Any brand, any size) and have it work with my laptop?
It's a Compaq Presario CQ60-211DX Notebook PC.

You can buy any brand and size as long as the connection is the same. Your laptop has a SATA conenction so you can in theory install a 1TB hard drive into it. The limitation would be if the drive would fit height wise, as the 1TB drives are 12.5mm thick verses the 9.5mm thick of a regular drive.
