Is a laptop with a 250GB hard drive and 2GB memory enough for a writer?
I translate books and I need the laptop just for that. Mostly short stories and small books.
Do I need something better or is that enough? Just for writing.

That laptop will suit you fine. 2 GB of memory will run any word processor without any problems and the 250 GB hard drive will easily cover all your data. Short Stories and Small books don't take much space at all.
