How can I install OSX Leopard on my laptop?
I have an HP dv5000 series laptop. It is a 1.6 GHz Centrino Duo with a 250GB HDD and 2GB memory. I called the apple store and the build of OSX Leopard they have is 10.5.6. Is there a process I need to follow or can I just install it normally? Will there be any problems after install witih drivers?
OS X is designed to install and run only on Apple hardware. There are illegal ways around it, but since Apple only provides drivers for their hardware, you'll need to write your own drivers. Plus you won't be able to patch or update the system, it can be remotely disabled by Apple, and you can in theory be sued.
