Exactly How Fast Is 2.1 GHz on an AMD Laptop?
So I recently bought a notebook from HP with a AMD Turion 64 x2 processor and it has a 2.1 GHz processor speed, I'm trying to get into computer gaming and I see on the websites where they show the minimum requirements to play a game a lot of the games say that they require *at least* a 3.0 GHz processor speed, which I'm guessing is about average or below average for a desktop PC but what about a laptop?
Basically, I'm wondering is 2.1 GHz processor speed a poor / decent / above average / or a great speed for a laptop?

And how well will it keep up with modern games?
If it wont work then how come when I look up gaming PCs on Alienware they all have 2.0 - 2.2 GHz processor speed? And they're gaming-specific laptops
Your laptop isn't made for gaming. The video card shares memory with the CPU and the processor is weak for demanding games, especially new games.
