What laptop should i get?A hp dv6z or a dell studio 17?
After researching, i narrowed down my choices to those two, and even though the dell is more expensive, i will upgrade the hp to that price w/ a 3gb ram and a 320 gb hard drive, and i will upgrade both laptops to have bluetooth. Same os(windows vista home premium) but diff processers (hp has amd and dell has intel).

ok personally, u should never go with dell...or at least never compare HP and Dell together, what's HP? quality, speed, performance, slick designs, special features - slip touch technology, RELIABILITY, parts well made and tested a few times during manufacture
what's Dell? parts pulled out of chinese microdumps (trust me, i've cross checked) occasional good part, performance not a given (as the hardware starts to ware out) great display (which is where they con u into getting dell, it looks good, always a plus) and good connectivity (sometimes...the D series was good for that only as far as i know)
anyway, go for the HP, even if it has a weaker processor, there's nothign you can do on a dell that you can't do on an HP and alot you can do on the HP you can't on a dell...HP lasts, has great customer service and makes it easy for you to recover partitions with the HP partition manager which comes with the HP.
i run a computer/laptop repair and building company, and get about 50 dell's in a week, and about 4 hps, hp are definately wuality inbuilt! dell are a gamble!
