I want to transfer Windows XP Pro from my laptop to my ASUS Eee PC 4G?
I know it could be uploaded from a DVD/CD drive, but I don't have one except on my laptop...will a peripheral transfer work from there with a USB-USB cable?
Attention: I have both the XP disk and additonal 8GB memory stick, so those are not issues...
you do realize it is going to take up most of your 4gigs right? In fact, does XP Pro need more than 4gigs? I dont remember, but i know its up there a ways in size. better check yours system requirements.
i assume the ASUS has a ethernet port. get a crossover cable (like an ethernet cable but its a special type) and you should be able to do it.
