hii,i have bought a dell laptop(inspiron 6400) and the specifications are .processor intel core 1.73 G ,1 MB?
cache ,533 mhz and 1024 MB ram but the laptop runs very slow with windows vista and i will return it and iam going to buy a laptop which got processor 1.8 G ,667 MHZ and 2 MB cache and 1024 MB ram is it good enough with windows vista .i want the laptop fast .can anybody give me an advice plz and thanks alot
Vista IS a big resource hog.... add extra RAM would help and I believe the Vista shouldn't run on anything less than 2gig of it!
Vista is a wonderful OS and I wouldn't want to go back to XP , but the fact is........ your laptop would probably run at blistering speed with XP.
Solution is......
Downgrade to XP
Add more RAM.
