What is the effect in performance of a laptop having 5400RPM or 7200RPM?
My laptop had a 80. Gb, 7200RPM, SATA hard drive, If I replaced it with 120 GB, SATA, 5400RPM HD, what is the effect on my laptop having lessor RPM HD.
Slower access time. You may notice this.
If you can find the 120GB at 7200 rpm, then I would definitly get it. Keep looking. Or get a external usb drive.
