Will a 120 watt universal laptop power adapter work for a 65 watt laptop?
The tip fits, but I don't want to fry my laptop. Will the adapter only put out what the laptop needs?
The adapter will work for an item that requires UP TO 125 watts to operate.. It will NOT hurt a device that can operate with less power. For example, a low power draw laptop is fine. Something that could use the tip, but, needs more power would either not work, overheat the adapter, or, possibly be harmed.
