Laptop wireless internet Help.?
I am about to get a laptop and a wireless router, but I want to know what is a decent but cheap Cellular network service provider in NORTH AMERICA(ex. T-Mobile, Motorola, Verizon).
Also I know that you can gt internet access with the wireless router and adapter, but my dad said your cell phone network provider gives you a chip, or installment or whatever to get internet access without wireless router connection (ex. Parks, in your car, Airplanes, Etc). Is there such a thing? and if there is what is it called? How much is it?, and what is it called?
ok, so does that mean that if I buy a "Wiresless PC Card" from my service provider, that I Basically wouldn't need any use of the adapter or wireless router? (WIFI), Is it called an "Wireless PC Card"?
That is just an accesory that goes into a laptop port (if your laptop supports it). You would have to contact your cell phone service to find out about it. At home you would just call an Internet service provider (ISP) to get internet service. A router would be about 60 bucks. Best Buy or someone like that would help you install it .
