What's better to buy- new AMD Athlon laptop or used Intel one?
Is getting one off a amazon.com a good idea? Need it for a kid who would just be entering college.
It depends. How fast is the processor on each? Are the both dual cores? What's the clock speed ( as in 2.2Ghz etc)? It all depends. AMD was on par with Intel at one point and their Phenom processors are still a force to be reckoned with.
Don't judge by the name. Judge the parts.
