Laptop or desktop for my home base business office?
Hello, I am having a dilemma, I can only afford either a desktop or a laptop, not both. What do you recommend - desktop or laptop? I will use it around 4 hours a day at home. Saving space with a laptop would be nice but on the other hand if it is less comfortable than desktop maybe desktop is better(?) THANKS
I would go with a laptop specifically for the portability aspect.
You can take it out with you to sit on your lawn, patio or deck. Whereas with the desktop, you are stuck to work inside on nice days.
If it has WI-Fi installed, you can even take it with you to a coffee shop and get work done while you are there.
There is really no difference in comfort levels as you can just as easiliy set the laptop on your desk and use it the same way.
