Laptop battery, charger not working?
My laptops charger port is messed up and no one in my town will attempt to fix it because apparentlyyou have to take the whole computer apart and re-soder something. Anyways, I was wondering if there is a battery out there that can charge while you ar still using the computer? Like the charger plugs directly into the battery? I have a Gateway.
Problem is not the charger, its the port the charger plugs into. My question is is there a battery that a charger can plug directly into or does it have to charge externally all the time because my port is messed up?

There are currently no official external chargers. There are 3rd party created ones but I wouldn't suggest it. I would highly recommend you visiting a few other stores or bigger stores perhaps to have them take a look at it.
