Why does the bottom half of my laptop screen flicker?
This has occured relatively recently; about two months ago. For some reason, when I adjust the position of the screen of my laptop, the bottom half of it flickers and begins to look glitchy. When it's flickering, I have a hard time clicking any icons or windows that are on the flickering part. It mostly happens when I open my laptop or when I move the screen farther back. Does anyone know why this happens?
MY guess is its a older laptop. If its not and its on warranty, bring it back. Inside right under the screen is a wide "cable" with leads on it usually with simple adhesive on it. (Sometimes its plugged in) It has hundreds of line going across it.. ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| <
Eventually I dont need to explain what will eventually happen. Depending on the model you can buy a new or used screen. (Parts of that nature are not usually cheap) Then a technician may be able to put in your replacement. However, most people dont bother.
**Try to keep it in one position (The screen) so it can last as long as possible or until their is a replacement of the laptop or screen.
