How often should I back up my laptop?
I am using a cdrw to backup everything onto. The laptop has a dvdrw drive.
Can I just erase the cd when I go to backup my data in the future or should I use cdrs instead and keep all my old backups?
I am using it for school. I have work from my university classes on the laptop. I have mostly papers I type up, power point presentations, etc.
I am using the backup program built into windows 7.
backup as often as you need, not to lose important information.
Save current work on a USB stick, and backup to the DVD drive maybe once a week. Another option is to get a USB disk drive, and backup everything to that every few days or weekly....
