How do you control a laptop HDMI output with an external desktop computer?
I was just wondering if there was any way to control a laptop HDMI output with a desktop computer. I want to hook up my desktop to my tv but i don't have an HDMI ready graphics card. My laptop does have an HDMI output but doesn't run as well when playing games. Is it possible to actually play games using my desktop computer and then have it connect to the tv via the laptop?

Nope. That will never work.
You need to connect your desktop directly to your HDTV. No other way around it.
You need a video card that has either a DVI or HDMI port. DVI can be connected to an HDTV using a DVI-to-HDMI cable.
