Is there a way to overclock my laptop cpu?
I have a crapy AMD dual core 1.9ghz cpu. It runs at 51c idle. Is there a way to make it faster with out overheating?
Only computers with a BIOS that supports overclocking can be overclocked. Very rarely do laptops have a BIOS that allows adjusting multipliers or FSB and even if you could... 51C at idle is very high considering you only have air to rely on for cooling. You wouldn't have significant headroom to do any real overclocking with that kind of temperature at idle.
