Dual Channel DDR2 RAM, How does laptop know it's Dual Channel?
I have an HP / Compaq Laptop nx9420. If I install Dual Channel RAM how do I tell the computer to use it that way?
If it accepts DDR2, then the BIOS will know it. Most computers accept either one or the other, but usually not both.. especially laptops. Veryify what your computer uses before you buy.
