Laptop RAM question? ?
If my laptop has 4 GB DDR3 RAM with speed of 1066 MHz, and I replace it with 4 GB DDR3 with speed of 1333 MHz, will the system automatically detect the change?
If the system is capable of using the faster speed, it will automatically do so. If not, it will run at the same speed as the old RAM did.
Don't mix speeds. The system will run all the RAM at the speed of the slowest module.
