How do I bring my laptop screen onto my lcd tv screen in HD?
Hey viewers. My laptop pc has an s-video port (7 pins), usb ports, and a port that looks like it may be vga (15 pins --looks like 5 wide V's tipped over to the left side) with two screw inputs on it's sides
My lcd tv has hdmi ports, usb ports, rca ports (I'd prefer not to use the rca's unless it's necessary--there's a lot already connected there) and s-video ports (4 pins each).
I also have a dvd player with rca ports (video and sound) and an s-video port (8 pins dock--I have the dock cable mount too). It also has a black coaxial 'digital in' port.
I want to play internet movies on my tv through the tv ports or through the dvd system ports and I'd like it to look and sound high quality (Like HD--if it's possible) with extremely well graphics and sound fixture. Can I use a cable box or blu ray disc player or xbox 360 elite for this? Please provide me details (step by step) with the wiring cables or other product I need.
Man....you NEED a newer TV set to get your laptop to work on it IN HD!
No 15 Pin D-Sub connector.....DARN!
Of course you could install an HDMI Video card on your Laptop, but that would be REAL EXPENSIVE too !
You're between a rock and a hard place....
