I have a emachines laptop when I turn it on it stays active for ten seconds then it cuts right off.?
I turn the laptop on and then it dosen't fully come on; the battery light flashes indicating that there's juice then it cuts straight off. Has any one else ever had this problem that can help me?
Even when the laptop has the power cord in it doesnt come on, what happens is the I'll have the battery in the laptop then, I'll plug the charger in, the green light stays on (but only when the battery is in) and the blue light comes on indicating that the laptop is on but it on last 10 seconds and goes straight out, I've even tried it without the battery and just the charger cord plugged in, but then nothing happens.
I have a E machines w4620.
I took into consideration that the battery might need replacing but I still cant figure why the laptop won't work with the charger cord plugged into the laptop. Does it have anything to do with the motherboard?
When you say the battery light flashes, do you mean blinks? Blinking means that it's out of juice. Does it do this when plugged into the wall? Does the battery light come on solid when plugged into the wall?
