i am having trouble with an enclosure kit i bought for my hardrive.. please help?
i had an older HP laptop that i no longer use, so i took out the two 100GB hardrives.. and in order to put it to use i bought an enclosure kit.. but i am having problems connecting my hardrive to the enclosure kit because i am suppose to remove this cap or watever in order for it to connect.. the guys at Best Buy and Fry's told me to just take it off.. but it's more difficult then i thought.. i thinks its glued down... how can i solve this problem? any help would be appreciated.. thank you
I don't think you can take notebook hard drives and put them in enclosures for a desktop. I say sell the drives and get a new external drive. You might even earn a profit doing so.
