Why won't my Laptop's built-in WLAN work?
The laptop has a switch that can be slid horizontally, left to turn its LAN off and right to turn it on. At one point, when I folded my laptop closed for a short duration, and once I unfolded it to use again, the light that shows the LAN is working was Orange, which meant it was off. It's normally blue, but no matter what I do, it stays orange!
What I've tried:
Folding/Unfolding again. Worked once, but then failed to every attempt afterward.
Did a system restore to a month ago before any of these issues began.
Virus scan.
Using the WLAN service that the laptop comes with.
I don't recall the other things I've tried, but I firmly believe that the WLAN itself must be busted, and that it's not something to do with any program or software... All the same, I'm open to any suggestion given that will work. What do I do?
I don't know the specifics of the laptop, but if they're necessary my father probably knows them, so I can edit this more to inform you all.
try to update the drivers first.
search for net if any other lap user report same problem(same model).
go to manufactures web site use internet explorer get any updates if available.
there can be a biose update to address this problem. but doing biose update is a ur own risk.
