Is Assassin's Creed on PC easy to control?

Hi!
Just receive my laptop yesterday and so eager to play games with it. I'm thinking about buying AC this evening but I'm wonder as I heard that its control was really sth "console". And I haven't buy a gamepad so I'm afraid that it wont be easy to play. Anyone has AC on computer, can you please give me some info? Thanks!

Indeed it is.

I have Assassin's Creed, and i play it with keyboard and mouse with ease.

Here's how i have it:
Movement;
w - foward/up (if climbing)
a - left
s - back/down (if climbing)
d - right
Right click on mouse hold - sprint
Right click hold + space hold - full out run

Combat;
F - Locks target
Left click - attacks with sword/throws knife/assassination with hidden blade/ punch
Shift - grabs

Right click switchs you into your dodge (space) Counter attack (left click)

That's basic, and the game will fully familarize you with your attack and movements.

There's a decent tutorial from the very beginning, and ways to practice your fighting at your Assassin's fortress, and you will learn to move and such from just playing the game.

So...

3 fingers to move, occasionally move extra on left hand to do various stuff.

Right hand on mouse to move camera, then to click when in combat.

Combat usually doesn't happen TOOOOO often as long as you play like a real assassin.

Thanks for looking at our laptop gamepad information.
