Why does my computer keeps shutting down when I boot it up?
I installed Ubuntu on it a while back and I believe that is what's what's causing the complications and not allowing it to boot. Whenever it starts up I am able to get into BIOS and it will not shut down, which must mean that it's a system failure not a hardware failure, and it can't be anything overheating because i cleaned out the tower and I even put CPU gel on the motherboard just in case, but still no dice... I even burned an Ubuntu installation disc and was able to install it on my other desktop as well as my other laptop, but when i try to run it on on that computer it shuts down before I can even attempt to install it, what do I do?
Like I said, it won't even let me boot the installation disc for Ubuntu, so I can't even uninstall it, and I've ran a memory check and everything seems fine, but idk what to do, and I don't have the Windows boot cd
EDIT: I put the gel on the CPU not the motherboard
must have been a bad loading,try re-installing
