Dropped laptop glass is NOT broken?
I dropped my laptop and now the picture is messed up. The actual glass isn't broken though. Is there any way I can fix it or do I have to take it to someone to repair it?
The glass isn't the problem here. The LCD portion of the screen has been damaged and you must get a new screen.
You can take the laptop to a computer repair shop and have them order a screen for you, mark up the price on it and charge you labor for putting it in.
You can also buy the screen off ebay (search for it using your laptop model number) and take it to the repair shop and just pay them labor without their mark-up on the LCD part.
Then there is the fully self-service method - buying the LCD off ebay and installing it yourself. Go to www.ifixit.com and search for your model laptop's LCD disassembly and install instructions to replace it yourself.
