What is the best adapter to transfer my old laptop HDD to my new HDD?
Is this SATA & IDE Hard Drive 2.5" 3.5" 5.25" HDD and Optical Drive USB Adapter Kit (http://www.cooldrives.com/index.php/ide-ata-adapter-sata-hard-drive-adapter.html) what I need to copy my 40GB image (OS and all) to my new 160GB HDD?
Now that I have the new 160GB HDD, not sure best place to start.

thank you for all the replies. i have an ibm thinkpad r40, so the os is already loaded on the hdd. i do have acronis and i've used it to make a copy of my system.
do i just plug in the new 160 hdd, and use the dvd copies?
i use one of these:

however, if you have an iso, i would burn that first in case the transefer goes awry...
