Webcam goes dark unless in direct light. help!?
i have a toshiba satellite laptop and it has a chicony 2.0 usb camera and when i'm on Skype or ooVoo or using it at all ill be using it and the picture on my end will go dark like the lights went out. even if i'm in a lit room, for my webcam to work it has to be in direct light like from a lamp or something, is there anyway to fix this? THANKS!!
you can adjust these setting with the webcam, and also depends on whats being filmed as if the background is on the lighter side it will compensate with darkness... trying wearing a dark black shirt or having something dark in the background and it shall conpensate with adding a backlight...
my webcam has the feature and its a 1.3mp so 2.0 should get you good lighting.
