External CD and DVD drive connection to laptop Dell mini 12?
My laptop Dell mini 12 has only one USB port. Will I be able to use external CD DVD RW drive for this laptop?
As I know, external drive needs power and data connection. Does it go through one USB cable or it requires two USB cables/ports?
An external DVD drive should be able to get enough power from one USB port. You can get a powered USB hub if you need access to more USB ports, or if you want to use an external hard drive, which might need 2 powered ports.
