If the screen on my laptop broke, can I use this monitor as a replacement for the broken screen?
Hey guys..now about a couple of days ago the screen on my laptop broke and I already have looked into fixing it next week, but I drastically have to finish a paper and I was wondering if this would work..now the cord from the monitor fits perfectly into the laptop side without any extra holes open or anything, but when I turn the monitor on I can't see anything? Im not sure what I'm doing wrong but if it just wont work or if I'm not doing something right, please tell me haha. I also heard that you can buy a cord to use your tv as a monitor and if that cord isn't that expensive I might do that. So here are some pictures of the monitor cord and the side of the laptop and you tell me if it will work. Thanks!
Your problem is more then a failed screen
Take your Hard Disk Drive (HDD) out and put it into an external USB en closer
Then using another computer - Maybe a friends you can access your stuff.
Then sort out your computer problem
