Controlling a laptop from a palm (possible?)?
Basically say I have a laptop connected to the internet and I'm a 100 yards away..is there a way to connect to and control that laptop (WITHOUT the Palm connecting to the internet) and see whats on the laptop from a Palm (or another laptop)? Another but similar question is what if the laptop was connected to something like a cantenna...could I access the laptop and control it through that?
Palm phone? whattt? I don't really understand what you're asking, but a cantenna is to bounce the signal from your router, its a ANTENNA not a controller, you remove one antenna from your router and connect the cantenna so that the signal is stronger, you do not need that since your house isn't like 98327498732 miles away. You can also connect one of your wireless adapters that have an antenna ( http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?blobcol=urldata&blobheadername1=Content-Type&blobheadername2=Content-Disposition&blobheadervalue1=image%2Fjpeg&blobheadervalue2=inline%3B+filename%3Dwmp54g_v4%252C23.jpg&blobkey=id&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobwhere=1130877079233&ssbinary=true ) and connect the cantenna, but if you're going to buy a new laptop they already come with those adapters built in without an antenna.
