How much do laptop manufacturers pay to Microsoft per installation for pre-installed Windows?
I would like to know because I am looking to buy a laptop and I never use Windows, I use Linux and almost all laptops come with Windows.
So I need to know how much money will MS steal from me by not allowing me to choose the option "Linux" or "No OS".
It's ~$50 or so:
