OCD -- spiders and other bugs?
How do you deal with it...
Like just now I was laying down with my laptop on my stomach and i turn my head to the right and guess what I see crawling near my head... a normal size non harmful spider...
I literally through my laptop jumped out of bed screaming then tried to look for it which i couldnt find until i got my mom to flip the covers and there it was... Like once its in the house even if its not bothering me I need to kill it or im going to be 1000X paranoid not only that I get chills an itches all over me even once its dead i feel like there crawling all over me.. like i refused to sleep in my bed until my mom changed my covers my bed sheets and pillow cases.... i even closed my closet doors... like Im even so extra I had to sleep on the other side of my bed where the spider was and now i have a can of RAID on the floor beside me like its my gun and some intruders gunna come kill me.. wth I hate thiss its soo disgusting...

hi there,
obv im not a medical professional so can only advise, but if this is your only 'issue' then I don't think this is OCD.
A lot of people have a fear of spiders and for some people it does become unbearable, this is probably the point where you should seek medical advise, when it starts to take over your life.
It sounds like a phobia but a rather bad one, and you would probs benefit from some kind of ERP therapy.
