what is the round thing on a laptop power cord?
the power cord has the large block which converts the regular AC 110V to 19V DC but just before the DC jack at the end of the PA is a round, molded plastic ...Thing. does it house a fuse? is it just for holding when disconnecting from the laptop?
It has a ferrite core which helps reduce electrical noise.
